Safeway: FREE Home Delivery!

Picture this: Logging onto your computer, picking out what groceries you want and having them delivered for FREE! Well, Safeway offers groceries delivered to your own front door. In this HOT weather, the last thing I want to do is schlep 2 kids to the grocery store. Especially when the youngest is in desperate need of a nap!

Safeway gave me the opportunity to try out their grocery delivery service for free. I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. I just set up a Safeway account, added groceries to my cart, entered my promo code for Free delivery and chose a delivery time.

Here is a picture of my order. I didn't really need the Sargento sliced cheese, but I wanted to see if my EQ from Cellfire would come off. Sadly, it didn't. I was very impressed with the freshness of the steaks and the blueberries, though. Now, my delivery was supposed to arrive between 10 and 12. The driver called about 11:45 and informed me he would be to my home around 12:20. I'm glad I didn't have anywhere I needed to be but I did appreciate the phone call.

My total for these items was $27.69. The minimum order for delivery is $50 but after Club Card savings and my online promo code, I saved $22.03 (45%). Not bad for not using any coupons!
