Coupon Slang

Here is a list of the abbreviations you will see on my blog and what they mean:


SS = Smart Source, an insert found in the newspaper.

RP = Red Plum, an insert found in the newspaper.

P&G = Proctor & Gamble, an insert found in the newspaper.

GM = General Mills, and insert found in the newspaper.

Q = Coupon

EQ = Electronic coupon that can be loaded onto your loyalty card. Valid for Fry's and Safeway.

IPQ = Internet printable coupon. Usually from manufacturers.

ECB = Extra Care Bucks from CVS. These print on the bottom of your receipt with participating purchases and can be used like cash on a future purchase.

RR = Register Rewards from Walgreens. These print from a Catalina machine with participating purchases and can be used like cash on a future purchase.

Blinkie = A coupon that comes from a machine in grocery store aisles.

Peelie = A coupon that you peel off of a product.
