Review: PlayGrounds Fun Zone & Cafe!

My family was invited to check out a new indoor play area, for kids. PlayGrounds Fun Zone & Cafe is located near 83rd avenue and Union Hills, in Glendale.

PlayGrounds had plenty to keep my 7 and 4 year old busy. Everytime I looked up they were scurrying back to this spot. They just kept waving and smiling. I new they were having fun because they weren't fighting!

The boys loved this double slide. It gave them a chance to race each other. Boys can be so competitive!

After about an hour, they worked up quite an appetite. The food coming from the cafe looked so good! I have never seen an indoor play area where you can order food and let your kids play, at the same time. There was plenty of tables to sit at and they even had super comfy leather couches!

You can order sandwiches, wraps salads and even gourmet coffee drinks! The cafe menu can be viewed HERE. Everything is made from scratch, including the Uh-May-Zing cinnamon rolls!

The cinnamon roll didn't last long, at all. Noah likes to think of himself as a cinnamon roll connoisseur. He let me know that these cinnamon rolls were better than the ones you can buy at the mall!

For those of you with toddlers, not to worry! You won't have to worry about your little ones being trampled by the older kids. There is a section dedicated to kiddos, 48" and shorter. When my boys were younger, they loved playing on the toys at the mall. We would usually be there about 5 minutes before they were knocked down by a group of 10 year olds that were obviously to big to be there. It drove me crazy! So, it was nice to see this space, just for the toddlers.

I would definitely recommend PlayGrounds! The price to get in is $8 for the first child, $2 off for each sibling and parents play FREE! I can tell you, when it is the middle of summer, this place will be hopping!

Please stop by PlayGrounds and check it out, for yourself. I am confident that you will not be disappointed. You can also head over and check out their Facebook Page! Be sure to let them know that Arizona Thrifty Mom sent you.

Disclosure: I was given free entrance to PlayGrounds for my two boys. In exchange, I have given my opinion in a blog post and 100% honest review.

We have gone here twice. It is a really nice place but their coffee is not so good. I wish they had wifi also.

I love their coffee but depends on whoes making it. Also they do offer free wifi. You just need to ask for password :)

Do they have a regular cleaning schedule (i.e. close down for 15 minutes to disinfect the equipment from time to time)? My kids always seem to get sick from places like this... :(

Yes they do have free wi-fi. Ask for the password and they will be happy to let you know what it is.

I'm not sure about a cleaning schedule. I can ask and find out. I will say, the bathrooms were immaculate!

Their coffee is awesome, just make sure you get the girl, not the younger guy making it.

I know a friend of mine was there in the afternoon and said they were cleaning the play place discreetly. I've also been told they sanitize it daily.

Just went to this place for the first time today. It was very nice and clean, even the bathrooms. The cafe area was very nice also. My daughter had a blast - we will be returning again. Tons of things for her to play on. Great place to play and avoid the summer heat. It's pretty crowded in the AM but as the 1:00 hour approached the crowd started to thin out.
