Recall: Chicken Nuggets from Walmart!

Perdue Farms Has Issued a Recall For Their Chicken Nuggets Sold Under the Great Value Brand

Perdue Farms and the United States Department of Agriculture have issued a voluntary recall for 91,872 pounds of frozen chicken nuggets sold at WalMart under the Great Value brand. There is a concern that some of the packages may contain pieces of plastic and should not be eaten.

The product affected is the Great value-branded fully cooked chicken nuggets with a 'best if used by date' of June 9 2011. On the product will be the numbers "89008" followed by the letter "A" and the numbers "0160" printed on the backside of the package. It will also have the Establishment number "P-33944" printed on the package.

No other products have been recalled or are affected in this recall. No injuries or illnesses have been reported.

If you have one of the affected chicken nugget products, return it to your local WalMart for a full refund. You can also call 1-877-727-3447  if you have any questions.
