Carmex asked me to join their very first Carmex Blog Squad. I immediately decided this would be an awesome opportunity. I have always loved Carmex for my lips and I really wanted to try their new lotion and healing cream.

Now, I knew I would love the lip products. I've used them for years. But, the lotion and healing cream needed to be put through some of my rigorous testing! :o) My first thought when I opened the lotion was to see how I liked the scent. Well, do you remember Cabbage Patch Dolls? That's how the lotion and cream smell! It started to give me childhood flash backs.
Next, I decided to use the lotion after I shaved my legs. I always get those terrible red bumps if I put on lotion after shaving. The Carmex healing lotion did not give me those nasty red bumps. I've been using the Carmex Healing Cream on my heels. Wearing flip flops all summer was not the best idea. But, the Healing Cream is definitely making a difference. It is not greasy and it absorbs really quickly.
The Carmex Healing Lotion and Healing Cream can be found at Walgreens stores, walgreens.com and drugstore.com. They retail for $5.99 and you can even use the $2 off coupon HERE, at your local Walgreens store!

I love the "old fashioned" balm in the jar from Carmex. It reminds me of my aunt who carried it around in her purse all of the time.

Being an RN, I can't begin to tell you how much Carmex Lip Ointment helped my cancer patients lips. I personally bring in a tube for each newly admitted patient, who will be undergoing Chemo & Radiation. They both cause severe drying of the mouth, sometimes with open sores in their mouths and their lips become extremely dry & crack. When doing my rounds, I make sure that everyone's lips are covered with Carmex! This truly a wonder product, which I use daily as well to keep my lips soft and moist.
