I have quite a few people ask me "Where do you get all of your coupons?" There are so many resources for getting coupons. I get most of my coupons from the Sunday paper, family members, the internet, e-coupons and the grocery stores.
Sunday Paper:
The Sunday paper usually has at least one insert, every week... Red Plum, Smart Source and Proctor & Gamble. When I refer to a coupon in a grocery mathchup I will always put the date the coupon was in the paper and the insert it was found in. (8/29) SS means the coupon was in the paper August 29th in the Smart Source insert.
Internet:
The internet is a great source for coupons! Some of my favorite sites are Coupons.com and Red Plum. For more printable coupon sites you find a list on the right side of my homepage. Remember, you can usually print each coupon twice by pressing the back button and then refresh. Another thing to remember about printable coupons...NEVER copy or scan these coupons! This is considered coupon fraud and the store will not be reimbursed for a copied coupon. Each printable coupon will have a unique barcode and a time stamp around the edge of most.
E-Coupons:
Many stores have loyalty cards that can be loaded with e-coupons. My favorite sites for e-coupons are Cellfire, Shortcuts, P&G Esaver, Fry's and Safeway. E-coupons are not always reliable. So, if they do come off, it will just be an added bonus!
Grocery Stores:
I love strolling the aisles of the grocery aisle and finding a great peelie or blinkie! A peelie is found directly on a product and a blinkie comes from a machine hanging in the grocery aisle. Now, please don't be one of those couponers that takes all of the peelies and the blinkies! Leave some for the rest of us :o). Many stores also have coupon books that are found on end caps or special displays. Remember, most of these coupons are manufacture coupons. So, they can be used at any store, not just the one you found them at.

Is it ok to take pellies off of products you do not intend to buy at that specific trip to the store?
Anon - That is a good question. I usually take one or two and wait for an item to go on sale. Some people don't think you should take them off unless you plan to buy the item on that trip. I would love to hear what other people think. I've called Kraft foods before and asked how they feel about taking them for a later date. According to the customer service person that I spoke to, they don't care as long as you use the coupon to buy their products. Whether it is right away or waiting for a sale.
