Well I cant think of a funny story but every year my kids string fruit loops to wrap around the xmas tree. and but the year of the month we have very few fruit loops left on the tree. The kids say that we must have squirrel living in our tree. :)
My kids and I love to make rice krispies treats but we like to make then with Trix. Make them very colorful and sweat.

Kind of a funny story, when I was first starting to learn how to cook, I decided to make the famous 'Corn Flake Chicken'. Well my husband (boyfriend at the time) kept all of his cereals in those plastic containers and I didn't realize I used FROSTED flakes instead! It was so nasty!! Lesson learned.
Great giveaway!!

Funny story - My kids rarely eat real sugary cereals, however I had given them Trix one day. A couple days later, while cleaning up my son's room, I noticed lots of Trix hidden around his room - secret snacks for later I guess!!

I haven't made it yet, but I've been wanting to try this recipe from Cooks.com:
LINDA'S CHICKEN & DUMPLINGS
3 pieces of boneless chicken breasts
5 or 6 cans of broth
½ bag of mixed veggies
2 cups bisquick
2/3 cup of half and half
Cut up boneless chicken into pieces. Boil or fry until tender. Cook vegetables.
Bring broth to a bubbling boil. Mix Bisquick according to directions on box.
Drop by spoonfuls into boiling broth.
Cook for 10 mins. Add the remaining ingredients and let simmer about 20 mins.
Optional Additions: Garlic powder and pepper to taste.
Sounds simple and I'm pretty sure my family would like it!

Funny story... in church my little boy wanted to snack on the cereal we had brought him and he kept on saying, 'mom I want some foot poops (fruit loops)!'
Here is a recipe:
Melt one bag of marshmellows and one cube of butter on low. Mix in desired frosted flakes. Shape into balls and enjoy!

When I was a kid, my family came home from a vacation right at dinner time. My parents started making a quick meal of waffles with Bisquick. My brother was stirring the batter and noticed some strange chunks. My mom took a look and noticed that there were weavels (someone didn't seal the lid to the Bisquick). My brother then wrote a poem titled "Weavels in my Waffles."

Well, I don't know how funny this story is but my dad bought me one of those as-seen-on-tv brownie pans that you insert into the brownie before they are cooked so they come out pre-cooked... Well I made Betty Crocker Brownies with it and when I went to take it out of the oven it was such an odd pan that I ended up burning myself... well DBF laughed at me (not meanly) and then proceed to burn himself on the pan as well!
we definately had some ice cream with our brownies and burns!

Okay -- so this could be funny, depending on your sense of humor. (My family tells bathroom jokes at the dinner table, lol). I have IBS, so have problems digesting too much fiber. The first time I ever tried the Fiber One bars, I learned the hard way that there is A LOT of fiber in those things. They have something like 35% of your daily fiber in EACH bar. I was going to try just a bite, but then I thought "Mmmmmm! These taste like candy bars!" So I ate the entire bar, and then I ate a SECOND one. And the worst part was this was right before bed. So I literally spent the whooooole night buckled over in pain as my stomach gave me fits. I can look back and laugh at my ridiculousness, but man oh man was I not laughing at the time!! I can only imagine if my poor boyfriend had been around at teh time.
For some laughs, check out this thread: http://www.urbanmonarch.com/fiber-one-chewy-bars-stomach-problems-gas/

Funny story about Fruit Loops...my step-son, who is now 38, would NEVER use a cereal bowl for Fruit Loops...he always used a mixing bowl. One day I suggested that he just open the box and pour the milk right in.... :) He still likes 'em!
Sugar-Free Drop Cookies
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups Bisquick
2/3 cups brown sugar replacement, such as Equal or Sugar Twin
1 box sugar-free instant butterscotch pudding
1 box sugar-free instant chocolate pudding
4 tbsp margarine (I use the kind with plant steroids)
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
2 1/2 c chopped pecans
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2.Mix the Bisquick, brown sugar replacement, the puddings, and all of the other ingredients in the order they are listed, making sure to beat well after every addition. It's important that everything be well-blended.
3. Drop the dough by spoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet.
4. Bake at 350 degrees about 16-18 minutes, or until the cookies are firm. Let them cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes and then transfer them to paper towels to finish cooling.
These cookies are great for anyone who is diabetic.

The funniest story I can think of involves lucky charms. When my dh was a boy his parents never bought kids cereal. So he was deprived, lol. Now that he can buy his own cereal, guess what he buys? Kids cereal like trix and lucky charms. What I find so endearing is that as soon as he gets the box he rips into it and fishes out the toy, and eats all the marshmallows first.
